Red Wing Wine & Whiskey Winery
Red Wing Wine & Whiskey Company produced 15 barrels of wine using 100% Minnesota-grown grapes, crafted exclusively for sale at the Historic Anderson House Hotel. To enhance the guest experience, RWW&W also planted four rows of grapevines (15 total vines) on-site, creating a winery-inspired atmosphere at Minnesota’s oldest historic hotel. This distinctive concept seamlessly blends wine, food, and lodging—all in one location.
This model is permitted under Minnesota’s farm-winery license, which allows producers to craft or import wine and sell it directly to consumers, bypassing traditional distribution channels. While neither the Anderson House Hotel nor Red Wing Wine & Whiskey currently hold a farm-winery license, the seller is open to facilitating connections with winemakers who can continue producing “House Hotel” wine.

The Lost Dutchmen
Tucked away in the lower level of the Historic Anderson House Hotel, The Lost Dutchman offers a hidden retreat steeped in charm and character. This speakeasy-style bar exudes a warm, moody ambiance with its dark, textured walls, rustic wood beams, and low-slung ceilings that invite you to settle in and stay awhile. The backlit shelves behind the bar showcase a curated selection of spirits, while vintage-inspired bar stools and cozy table settings add to the intimate, underground feel.
Industrial touches—like exposed piping, rope-wrapped posts, and nautical accents—evoke a sense of mystery and nostalgia, perfectly complementing the bar's namesake. Whether you're sipping a signature cocktail at the bar or gathering with friends at one of the high-top tables, The Lost Dutchman delivers a truly unique experience—equal parts historic, atmospheric, and unforgettable.
